Community managers coordinate individual property needs under the watchful eye of the property supervisor. Our team strive to keep properties occupied, residents satisfied and rental rates at the leading edge of the market.
Steve Urquhart ..... Regional Supervisor - East Coast
Mr. Urquhart joined RK Properties in 2008 as the company’s Community Manager handling the company’s Arizona properties. In July 2012 he was promoted to Regional Supervisor and his present responsibilities include overseeing properties in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina
and South Carolina. Mr. Urquhart was previously employed in the airline industry as a gate agent and was promoted to VIP of Concierge of Airports and then to Base Manager for a small airport in northern Arizona. In 2004 he decided to change careers and move into the property management industry. After four years as a leasing agent elsewhere, he was hired by RK Properties.
Kelly White ..... Director of Training and Marketing
Kelly White started in property management as a leasing professional in 2011. This is where she developed her passion for property management and customer relations.
In 2013 she came to RK Properties and continued her growth with successfully advancing to each of our onsite positions. This experience and commitment has given her an extensive knowledge to what our company stands for and what it takes to support our onsite operations in success. As our Director of Training & Marketing she leads all efforts in branding, communications, property development, budget control, client relations, social presences and advertising. In addition to overseeing all property marketing platforms, Kelly works closely with onsite operations by giving continuous support and training.
Traci Parsons ..... Regional Supervisor - Nevada
Ms. Parsons has had the pleasure of employment with RK Properties since May of 2013. Her position as Community Director earned her the position of Regional Supervisor since March of 2020.
She is dedicated in providing an open forum for all residents and employee's under her leadership. Her 30 plus years in the property management industry in the state of Nevada has given her the experience to communicate and understand the needs of all aspects of property management.
Her commitment to supporting the company's assets and employees is her primary goal.
Angelica Artis ..... Assistant Regional - North Carolina
Ms. Angelica Artis comes to RK Properties as the Assistant Regional Manager with over 13 years of experience in overseeing and directing the daily operations of commercial and residential properties.
She has established her property management presences by entering into the leasing role and gradually progressing to each position. Ms. Artis prides herself in professional development and implements training programs that contribute to the success of the portfolio. Her property management skills focuses on asset management, client relations, budget control, lease administration, vendor contracts, training, marketing, community lease-up and renovation project management.
Angelica serves on many industries related committees including Education, Programs, Government/ Industry Affairs and is a trained trainer for the apartment association. She currently holds professional designations CAM/NALP and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources and Finance from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Claudia Torres ..... Regional Supervisor - California
Having started in the Multifamily Property Management industry in 2006, managing properties of various sizes throughout the southern California area, Claudia joined the RK Properties family in 2013 as an Onsite Property Manager. Having found the right company in which she wanted to grow, Claudia enrolled in business and real estate courses at Cerritos College where she graduated from in 2018 with an Associate Degree in Business Management.
As of January 2021, Claudia was promoted to Regional Supervisor for the Southern California area, where she oversees a total of 4 properties which include the one she continues to manage onsite. Claudia provides support and guidance to a team of 3 On-site Property Managers and 3 maintenance team members. Her 15 years total management experience has equipped her with the knowledge necessary to motivate and lead my team to success.
